Hundreds of entrepreneurs across North East Lincolnshire have had the support of Mark Webb. Mark was born in Zimbabwe and at the age of 21 travelled across Europe before moving to London with just a “rucksack, £50 and a lot of ambition”. Several years ago he moved to Grimsby, making a lasting mark in his new home town.

Mark became Managing Director at Grimsby and Scunthorpe Newspapers before launching his own business ventures – the popular Cleethorpes Chronicle weekly newspaper and business support social enterprise, e-factor. With the help and expertise of this unique enterprise club, so many businesses in the area have celebrated their own successes. This is in addition to being Chair of the North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group and board member of both Centre4 and the Enterprise Agency.

As Mark says: “North East Lincolnshire has much potential and I really think there are more opportunities and more potential for the future of this area than there have been for decades.” This is what makes Mark Webb an honorary Grimbarian.
